Happy 2022 Small Business Week! As you know, small businesses are the driving force behind the Texas economy, helping our state lead the nation in an economic resurgence. During this week, we will celebrate the significant impact Texas small businesses have on our state's economic vitality and job creation. Thanks to small businesses, Texas has set a new record for job growth, with employment levels higher than ever before in our state's history!

We are excited to share the official proclamation and press release from Governor Greg Abbott, declaring May 2-6, 2022, Small Business Week in Texas. We also invite you to watch Governor Abbott's video.

Our state's 3 million small businesses employ nearly half of all working Texans and serve as the cornerstones of our local communities. That's why our office is focused on ensuring small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs have access to the resources they need to be successful in Texas.
